Obama staff combines D.C. with Chicago

WASHINGTON (AP) — President-elect Barack Obama is forming a White House leadership team that combines experienced Washington insiders who can help build a bridge with Congress and trusted associates who share his Chicago roots. The West Wing appointments that Obama has announced in recent days stand in contrast to those of George W. Bush, who relied heavily on fellow Texans for top posts. They had virtually no experience dealing with Congress, nor did the former Texas governor who was their boss.

There isn't much bridging that needs to be done. Democrats have the majority and now they have a communist *cough* I mean democratic President, so they are pretty much going to run the show.

Why do you (AP) feel you have to continue to slam anything Bush has done? Perhaps after a little while you will see that your darling Obama may not be the Messiah you have made him out to be... Governing is a bit different than selling yourself in a campaign. I fear for where our nation is going since we seem to have lost our common sense in that regard (governing vs. campaigning).

Has Obama had enough experience "dealing with congress" or will the team he puts together "have enough"? How much is enough?
