We’re still caught up in chilly weather, but that’s no reason to put off buying a few wardrobe updates for the Spring season. Here are a few great places to start your search.
MyHabit.com
-This Amazon website requires a membership, but the rewards you may reap are beyond worth it. MyHabit is a flash sale site that offers deep discounts on designer clothes, shoes, accessories, and even skincare. Sales “events” start at 9 a.m. If you find an item you love has been sold out, you can just register to get an email notification. If MyHabit gets any returns or the item is back in stock, they’ll email you.
MissSelfridge.com
-UK site MissSelfridge has plenty of bargains in the sale section. The shoe selection is particularly great, but my favorite feature is the petites section! They also organize dresses by occasion, which quite handy.
Sheinside.com
-Sheinside.com has cute clothes and accessories, but the bonus point program is great too! New users are eligible to receive coupons for 15% off. They also offer a discount to Facebook fans. My favorite feature is the blog, which not only showcases runway trends but offers tips on styling pieces from the site.
Monseratdelucca.com
-I’m absolutely wild about Monserat De Lucca’s unique jewelry–and their prices. There are plenty of pieces under $60, but they look far more expensive. My favorite piece is probably the Vining Flower earrings. They’re only $45, but they look as though they should be under glass at a museum. Monserat De Lucca has a great selection of pieces that range from elegant and demure to quirky and fun.
Asos.com
-There are great clothes here, but the free returns, free standard shipping, and 10% student discount are just the icing on the cake.Their outlet has great clothes for slashed prices, but the biggest draw here is the petite and plus-sized sections. The sheer variety of styles alone makes Asos.com worth checking out. They even carry maternity lines!
Shopruche.com
-I’ll be honest, Shopruche.com is easily one of my favorite places to shop. I’m obsessed with their feminine dresses and dainty jewelry. The prices are great too. Their short lace and chiffon dresses are perfect for staying stylish in the sweltering Baton Rouge heat.
Etsy.com
-No, I’m not kidding. If you want originality, Etsy is the best place to go. Hundreds of thousands of Etsy sellers have everything from upcycled vintage finds to handmade creations. I like to shop at Etsy because I know where my money is going–into an artisan’s pocket, not to a corporation.
Ebay.com
-Ebay is fantastic for many of the same reasons as Etsy. It’s a fantastic place to look for vintage clothing without even leaving the house. Just typing “vintage jewelry” into Ebay’s search bar will net you over 750,000 results. Just be safe when shopping. If you see a deal that seems too good to be true, it probably is.
-One more thing:
Registering at Ebates.com allows to you receive “cash back” on online purchases. The amount you’ll receive varies by site, but you can even receive cash back at sites like Amazon.com.
