The No. 17 LSU men’s golf team is tied for the lead at the Argent Financial Classic after playing the first two rounds Monday at Squire Creek Country Club in Choudrant, La.
The Tigers share the lead with North Texas, finishing the two rounds at 2-under 574. LSU posted a 4-over 292 in the first round and a 6-under in the second round.
Junior Andrew Presley holds the 36-hole individual lead after shooting an 8-under 136. Presley shot a 5-under 67 in the first round and 3-under in the second.
North Texas senior Rodolfo Cazaubon is four shots behind Presley after finishing the day at 4-under.
LSU sophomore Curtis Thompson is tied for sixth after finishing the day at even-par. He shot 3-over in the first round and 3-under in the second.
Sophomore Myles Lewis shot 2-over for the day and is in a tie for 12th. Sophomore Stewart Jolly finished the day two shots behind Lewis, good for a tie for 19th.
Freshman Zach Wright was inserted into the lineup following his victory at the Louisiana Classics last week and finished the day at 4-over.
The final round will begin at 8 a.m on Tuesday.
