The LSU Board of Supervisors will hold a special meeting today to potentially approve the hiring of F. King Alexander to the newly created president of LSU position.
The meeting will also include an executive session to discuss the multiple public records requests submitted for the names of the candidates involved in the search for a new president.
The executive session discussion comes under threat of a lawsuit against the University over the confidentiality of the presidential search, which at one point yielded more than 30 potential candidates.
Alexander was officially announced March 18 as the sole finalist in the search for LSU’s president, which will encompass the system president and chancellor positions.
