LSU ends season with Sweet 16 loss to Cal

LSU suffered a 73-63 loss to No. 2 seeded Cal in the third round of the NCAA tournament in Spokane, Wash.

LSU and Cal were tied at 26 at halftime, but Cal used a second-half spark from senior guard Layshia Clarendon and LSU offensive struggles to pull away.

LSU finishes its season with a 22-12 record.
