This year’s MTV Movie Awards, hosted by comedic actress Rebel Wilson, aired live on Sunday night to mixed reviews.
However, even if the show itself didn’t live up to everyone’s expectations, the fashion didn’t dissappint. Unlike the Oscars and the Golden Globes, the MTV awards are much more relaxed and the stars tend to go for bolder, and more fun, fashion choices.

Kerry Washington
Kerry Washington, nominated for her role in “Django Unchained,” walked the red carpet in a black and canary yellow dress by Michael Kors. Actress Zoe Saldana sure didn’t shy away from showing off a little leg in her Givenchy floral maxi-skirt! European store, New Look, is now carrying a black and floral maxi-dress at just $31! The maxi-dress look is a great casual look for the summer. You can rock the look with either a pair of flat sandals or wedged heels if you’re brave.

Crystal Reed of MTV’s “Teen Wolf”went for the flirty look in a red lace dress by Nha Kahnh. Yes, lacy is known to be “sexy” and is usually shied away from in every day wear, but there are still ways to tame the look.
