The Southeastern Conference named junior Natoya Goule its Women’s Runner of the Week after her performance at UCLA’s Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner Kersee Invitational.
Goule broke LSU’s nine-year old record when she ran the world, NCAA and SEC-leading time of 2:01.18 in the 800 meters.
Goule also ran the anchor leg of the first place 4×400-meter relay that helped the Lady Tigers secure victories against UCLA and TCU in the meet.
