The LSU men’s basketball team picked up yet another prospect for its nationally ranked recruiting class when it officially signed Australian center Darcy Malone on Thursday.

The announcement comes one day after the Tigers scooped up three-star forward Brian Bridgewater of Scotlandville High in Baton Rouge.

Malone rounds out the six-man recruiting class for 2013 and beefs up the formerly undersized LSU frontcourt. The seven-footer should be a great compliment to sophomore forward Johnny O’Bryant III and five-star forward Jarrell Martin, the crown jewel in coach Johnny Jones’ first recruiting class at LSU.
