The LSU men’s golf team is in fourth place after the first round of the John Hayt Invitational in Florida.

As a team, the Tigers shot 2-over 290 at Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Verda Beach, Fla.

Junior Andrew Presley had the lowest round of the day for the Tigers with a 3-under 69, good for a tie for sixth overall.

The LSU women’s golf team is in eighth place after their first round of the spring season at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate at English Turn Country Club in New Orleans.

The Lady Tigers finished the day at 3-over 291and trail the Tulane by nine strokes.

Freshman Elise Bradley is tied for 15th after shooting a 1-under 71.

Both teams will resume play Monday morning.
