The LSU track and field team has completed competition in select field events and preliminary competition in most running events after two days of competition at the Southeastern Conference Championship meet.
Senior Damar Forbes finished second in the men’s long jump behind Florida’s Marquis Dendy.
Freshman Therese Jernbeck finished sixth overall in the women’s pentathlon, junior Keri Emaneul finished fifth in the women’s long jump and sophomore Tori Bliss finished fifth in women’s shot put.
Sunday’s events will include: women’s weight throw, men and women’s triple jump, women’s high jump, men’s pole vault and all running events including the men and women’s 1,600-meter relay. The meet resumes at 10 a.m.
