Kanye West Proposes to Kim Kardashian
Kim Kardashian is officially going to make her way down the aisle for the third time!
Kanye West popped the big question this week in the most extravagant way that only Yeezus could pull off.
The proposal took place in the center of AT&T Park in San Francisco. As Kanye got down on one knee, a 50-piece orchestra played Kim’s favorite song (Lana Del Ray’s “Young and Beautiful”) followed by “Knock You Down” by Keri Hilson featuring Ne-Yo and Kanye West.
Also, the words “PLEEESE MARRY MEEE!!!” were on the jumbotron. No word on whether the “E” button was broken or if that is actually what Kanye submitted to the Jumbotron operator.
After Kim accepted the proposal (along with a 15-carat diamond ring by Lorraine Schwartz), her family rushed to the center of the field to congratulate the couple. Fireworks and champagne helped top off the event.
Of course, the whole thing was filmed. You can see the amateur video below, but I’m sure the high quality version will be on next season’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Congrats to Kim and Kanye! Let’s hope this one last more that 72 days.
’50 Shades’ Casts New Christian Grey
After last week’s casting drama, ’50 Shades of Grey’ has a new leading man.
Jamie Dornan (Once Upon a Time, The Fall) will take the role of Christian Grey, which was previously held by Charlie Hunnam.
On Thursday, the author of the book, E.L James, took to Twitter to confirm the news.
“Stow your twitchy palms ladies … our man is here. Welcome to #TeamFifty @JamieDornan1,” wrote James.
The brooding Irishman may be relatively unknown to an American audience, but this upcoming role will definitely change that.
The film is set to start production in just a few weeks, and is projected to be released in theaters on August 1, 2014.
ABC’s ‘Scandal’ Faces Real Life Scandal

As if the intense world of Olivia Pope and her associates isn’t dramatic enough, the ABC drama is facing a real-life scandal of its own.
On Wednesday, entertainment news website, TheWrap, published a story that exposed a prominent Scandal blogger. The Wrap reported that a “fan” blogger, who gained fame under the Twitter handle @Scandal411, was actually Courtney Pajor, director of special sales for ABC.
In their report, TheWrap added that they are in possession of documents that link Pajor to the account.
However, ABC released a statement on Friday refuting the details of TheWrap’s article:
“After an exhaustive investigation, we have determined that Courtney Pajor is NOT the creator or driving force behind Scandal411, nor do we have reason to believe she had anything to do with the website or twitter account. The fact is, Scandal411 was the brainchild of an ex roommate of Courtney’s, who has no affiliation with ABC or the program.”
Why is this such a big deal, you ask? Well, if the blogger was actually Courtney, she never publicly admitted to working for ABC while pushing the show and gaining over 25,000 Twitter followers over the last year. The account was filled with the user’s opinions on the show as well as conversations with other fans and even the stars of the show and members of the crew. @Scandal411 would even post certain information, such as spoilers and episode photos, before they were released to the press, supporting the claim that the user was on the inside of the network.
According to the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC), bloggers and tweeters who receive compensation to promote a product should reveal their involvement with the company in any content that involves the product (or show).
The Twitter account was deactivated soon after the story broke, but the mystery user behind the page did post his/her side of the story on their blog at http://scandal411.com.
Since Scandal is known as “the show that Twitter built,” having an employee secretly act as a fan to help promote the show would not look good for the network.
If the Courtney Pajor actually did run the account, the important question that remains is: Was she actually sent by the network to promote the show in secrecy or was she just a really big fan of the show that just happened to work for ABC?
As of now, the story is still developing according to TheWrap.
