Sophomore running back Jeremy Hill has pleaded guilty to his charge of simple battery following an altercation in Tigerland on April 27.
State District Judge Michael Erwin handed Hill a six-month suspended sentence and two years probation, both of which overlap his previous six-month suspended sentence and two years probation which he received in January 2012 after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
Hill rushed for 755 yards and 12 touchdowns during his breakout freshman season and was the assumed starter for the 2013-14 season.
He also rushed for 102 yards on 13 carries in the Spring Game just before the incident.
