Lamar Odom Arrested on DUI Charges

NBA star Lamar Odom was arrested early Friday morning on DUI charges in Los Angeles.
TMZ is reporting that police initially pulled Odom over for driving too slow. He then failed several field sobriety tests which led to his arrest for “driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.”
Unfortunately, this comes as no surprise since rumors have been running rampant in recent weeks about Odom’s alleged crack cocaine use.
There have also been reports of marital problems between Odom and his reality star wife, Khloe Kardashian.
Amanda Bynes Headed for Long-Term Hospitalization

Thanks to the twerking styles of Miley Cyrus, we’ve forgotten about the starlet that set the summer on fire (literally) with her erratic behavior.
Amanda Bynes has been under psychiatric care for the past month after the actress set an elderly woman’s driveway on fire in July.
Doctors are reportedly treating Bynes with schizophrenia, although she has not been formally diagnosed with the illness.
After extending what was originally a 72-hour hold to 30 days, the New York Post is now reporting that doctors are looking to keep her hospitalized for at least a year.
On August 9, Bynes’ mother gained a temporary conservatorship of her daughter’s $3.5 million estate. The hearing in Bynes’ case will be held on September 30, where a judge will determine if the conservatorship should become permanent.
Jay Z and Justin Timberlake Release ‘Holy Grail’ Video

Jay Z and Justin Timberlake may have just wrapped up their Legends of the Summer stadium tour, but that doesn’t mean they’re taking a break from the scene.
On Thursday, the music video for the artists’ latest collaboration, “Holy Grail,” was released via Hov’s Facebook page.

Jay Z is continuing to implement his “new rules” with this video, which he’s calling a “visual.” The official visual for “Holy Grail,” the leading track off of his latest album, Magna Carta, Holy Grail, features artistic cinematography and a chopped and screwed version of the song.
Jay Z’s visual for “Picasso Baby,” another single off of the album, was also presented in a unique way: as a live performance art film shot at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
You can also expect more from Justin Timberlake when he releases part two of The 20/20 Experience on September 30.
Actress Reportedly Joins Reality Show Despite Cancer Diagnosis

Valerie Harper of the Mary Tyler Moore Show, a beloved sitcom from the 70’s, was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer earlier this year and originally was given only a few months to live.
To the public’s surprise, Harper is reportedly one of the contestants of the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars.
While the cancer is still fatal, Harper’s doctor said the actress is “getting pretty close to remission” during an interview on NBC’s Today on Thursday.
Actress Leah Remini, Glee’s Amber Riley, and Snooki will also reportedly be throwing on their dancing shoes.
ABC will release a full, official list of cast members on September 4 on Good Morning America at 8am/7c.

Fergie welcomed her first child with husband, Josh Duhamel, on Thursday.
Their son, Axl Jack Duhamel, weighed in at 7 pounds, 10 ounces, according to E! Online.
