A truck drives Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 through the flooded road near the corner of Burbank Drive and Nicholson Drive.
Baton Rouge Police Department has closed off Burbank because of severe flooding between Walk On’s and the Burbank, Nicholson light.
Police are unsure when the area will be reopened to traffic. No road blocks are currently in place on the opposite side of the flooding near Walk On’s.
The area appears to have been closed off after a man attempted to drive through the water but got stuck when rain water got to high.
