LSU Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Joe Alleva announced plans Monday to play home-and-home series against UCLA and Arizona State between the years 2021 and 2024.
LSU will face UCLA in Pasadena, Calif., at the Rose Bowl on Sept. 4, 2021, and at Tiger Stadium on Aug. 31, 2024. The Tigers will play Arizona St. in Tempe Sept. 10, 2022, and play in Tiger Stadium Sept. 9, 2023.
It will be the Tigers’ first matchup against UCLA in school history. LSU last played Arizona State Sept. 10, 2005, with a 35-31 Tigers victory.
“It’s our goal to play as an attractive non-conference schedule as possible,” Alleva said. “Getting teams to agree to a home-and-home series is very difficult but we will continue to make every attempt to bring a BCS-conference caliber opponent to Tiger Stadium.”
