Junior all-arounder Lloimincia Hall of the LSU gymnastics squad is receiving a lot of attention for one of her floor performances this season.
One day after LSU’s victory in the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional on Saturday, a TigerTV video featuring Hall’s floor routine, which received a perfect score, against Alabama Jan. 31 was uploaded onto the Internet.
The highlight quickly went viral, and as of Tuesday, the video has received more than 270,000 views on YouTube. National media organizations, such as USA Today and People Magazine, have also put the video on their own websites.
Hall has claimed two more perfect scores on floor this season, most recently in LSU’s victory in regionals Saturday.
Despite the sudden individual fame, Hall said helping her team to win its first team national title in program history is still her goal.
