LSU and Alabama will play a doubleheader on Saturday after inclement weather forced the postponement of the game on Friday.
Game time will be noon and 7 p.m. on Saturday. Officials will clear Alex Box Stadium between the two games and ask fans to use their tickets to Friday’s game for admittance into Saturday night’s second game.
LSU coach Paul Mainieri said his pitching rotation will stay the same, using junior ace Aaron Nola for the first game at noon while freshman Jared Poche’ pitches the night cap.
The Tigers (35-13-1, 13-10-1 Southeastern Conference) are 0-4 this season in doubleheaders, losing twin bills to both Vanderbilt and Florida on the road.
