Prince Rogers Nelson was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on June 7, 1958.
As a young child he was diagnosed with epilepsy. However, at the age of  seven he informed his mother he would no longer be sick anymore.
Prince had an early interest in music which his father encourage.
He’s been categorized as a funk, jazz, new wave, pop artist.
He has won 7 Grammy awards and sold millions of records worldwide.
He is an Jehovah’s witness.and has been known to knock on people’s door to discuss his faith.
