In a statement, the University of Florida confirmed freshman quarterback Treon Harris is accused of sexually assaulting a female student early Sunday morning. He is suspended from all team activities, according to a university release.
According to the University of Florida Police Department crime log, a sexual battery was reported at Springs Residential Complex on Monday, though the log shows the crime is said to have taken place on Sunday.
Harris replaced senior quarterback Jeff Driskel in Florida’s contest with Tennessee on Saturday, leading the Gators to two scoring drives that erased a 9-point fourth-quarter deficit in their 10-9 win against the Volunteers. 
The Gators play LSU on Saturday night in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
