The LSU football team defeated Florida, 30-27 Saturday night in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium after a back-and-forth fourth quarter characterized by big plays.
Both teams traded blows late in the final minutes, culminating in a 50-yard, game-winning field goal by sophomore kicker Colby Delahoussaye set up by an interception by sophomore safety Rickey Jefferson.
The field goal acted as redemption for Delahoussaye, as he missed an extra point attempt in the second quarter.
Leonard Fournette carried the Tiger offense with a game-high 140 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries in a career performance.
Florida senior wide receiver Andre Debose kept Florida in the game with two long returns, one in the first quarter for the first touchdown of the game and another in the third that set up a touchdown that gave Florida a 24-20 lead.
