The University’s e!TXT system will conduct a test Wednesday.
The texts alert students, faculty and staff about emergency events and send caution messages throughout the semester.
Ernie Ballard, University Media Relations director, encouraged students to sign up for the service before Wednesday’s test.
According to a University relations news release, users should register by 5 a.m. Wednesday to be included in the test.
