The LSU women’s golf team enter the 2014-15 season ranked No. 24, according to the preseason Golfweek poll.
The Lady Tigers ended last year 18th in the final Golfweek rankings. The team ended last season finishing 20th in the NCAA Central Regional. 
Senior Madelen Sagstrom and sophomore Caroline Nistrup return to the team following All-SEC selections a year ago.
Sagstrom, Nistrup and junior Nadine Dreher are competing in Japan this week at the women’s World Amateur Team Championship.
LSU opens its year on Sept. 19 at the Mason Rudolph Championships in Franklin, Tenn.
