The Gypsy Warrior girl is sweet with just the right amount of edge.
The clothing and accessories brand can be found online or in two New Jersey store locations. However, if shopping online or traveling to the east coast isn’t your thing, Pac Sun has found a solution for you.
Pac Sun and Gypsy Warrior have paired up to make a collaboration collection available in Pac Sun stores or online.
The exclusive collection includes tops, bottoms, outwear and dresses. The collection is priced in the regular Pac Sun price range of $20 to $60. While that can seem expensive to some, it’s reasonable compared to some other exclusive collections Pac Sun carries.
The collaboration collection looks very similar to what can be found on Gypsy Warrior’s own website or stores. It focuses on neutral colors of black and white with occasional pops of reds and greens. Some denim and flannel are also thrown into the mix for more of that edgy girl vibe.
However, the harder materials are softened up with floral patterns and the tighter silhouettes are counteracted with loose-fitted items.
One of the best items in the collection is the Bell Sleeve Dress. The dress comes in a black and white paisley pattern with a scoop neck, bell sleeves and a loose frame. It has the silhouette of a dress from the seventies, but updated through its length and material.
The Bell Sleeve Dress pairs perfectly with a pair of flats or black sandals for the current weather, but can transition into colder seasons with black tights and boots. Paired with some silver jewelry and the look is complete.
Another item to not pass up is the selection of jeans Pac Sun and Gypsy Warrior have put into the collection. The Boyfriend Jean is a white denim with rips up both legs. Cuffed at the bottom and paired with the right tight-fitted shirt, the outfit screams looks cool and causal.
A light-wash denim is also an option. With a high-rise waist and holes on each knee, the jeans are tame compared to the rest of the collection, but work with any top purchased so the versatility is endless. The jeans are also a skinny jean fit, so they can work with boots or flats.
Lastly, the collection offers a black jean, with just about as many rips as the Boyfriend Jean. The black jean has a high-rise waist and a skinny leg. These jeans are my personal pick because they fit the Gypsy Warrior ascetic so well. Paired with a floral top from the collection makes them less harsh, or a black top and a leather jacket, the look is instantly female James Dean.
Overall, the Gypsy Warrior look takes ‘90s grunge and ‘70s psychedelic with a touch or modern trends and creates a look that can’t be found just anywhere. Take a look at the brand’s own personal website, but to save a bit of cash and to have a chance to see things in person, head over to your closest Pac Sun. I promise an item from this collection will become a wardrobe staple very quickly.
