Federal prosecutors will pursue the death penalty against Boston Marathon bomber suspect, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.
Tsarnaev and his brother, Tamerlan, are accused of planting two homemade bombs near the race’s finish line.
Three people died and more than 250 were injured.
LSU athletic trainer, Ray Castle and 3 Tiger student trainers were working the marathon and actually offered care to many of the injured.
Castle spoke to Tiger TV Thursday about the prosecutor’s decision to seek the death penalty.
Castle called this,”A big step toward a resolution in this situation and given the magnitude of this, the court is doing its due diligence and justice will be served.”
Castle says he still suffers some PTSD from the incident. He plans to return to the marathon on April 21. Once again, he and 5 LSU student athletic trainers will work the finish line. Two of the 5 students going with him were also working with Castle during last year’s race.
