LSU junior running back Jeremy Hill announced early Monday that he will forego his junior season in Baton Rouge and enter the NFL draft.
Hill declared his decision to move on from the Tigers through a series of tweets, stating he would always be a Tiger for life.
With all of that being said, I have decided to forego my Junior season and enter the 2014 NFL Draft. #GeauxTigers #33ToTheNFL #Blessed

I am a Tiger for life. I will forever be grateful to my LSU fans, friends, coaches and family. This decision has been very difficult for me.

Hill’s decision to leave for the draft was reported to be fluid through the past few days, with several reports saying the tailback would remain a Tiger in order to further his legacy at the school.
LSU’s leading rusher last season, Hill rushed for 1,423 yards and 16 touchdowns in 2013, including 216 yards and a pair of rushing touchdowns against Iowa in the Outback Bowl less than a month ago. Hill was awarded the Outback Bowl MVP award for his performance.
Fellow sophomore Trai Turner also declared his intentions to enter the Draft later Monday morning. The 6-foot-3, 315-pound offensive guard redshirted his true freshman season with the Tigers before emerging as a starter in his redshirt freshman season.
