The LSU Board of Supervisors met on Friday and decided to add $2 million to a new program that provides grants to university faculty members. According to the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report, the board initially invested $2 million to the Leveraging Innovation for Technology Transfer Fund (LIFT2) earlier this year totaling the investment to $4 million.
In addition to the LIFT2 investment the board also approved new construction projects on campus and renamed the LSU Honors College.
