An All-Southeastern Conference second team selection by the Associated Press, Alexander had six double-digit tackle games for the Tigers this season, capped off by an 11-tackle afternoon in LSU’s 31-28 loss to Notre Dame in the Music City Bowl on Tuesday.
He finished his junior season with 90 tackles, 1.5 sacks and a pass break up. Alexander started all 12 games of his junior season, a year removed from starting nine of 13 contests in his sophomore year.
Alexander’s decision is one of many expected for LSU underclassmen, including juniors Jalen Collins, Jalen Mills and Vadal Alexander.
