LSU Student Government announced on Instagram that Glorilla will be the headlining performer for Groovin’ 2024. The Memphis rapper was catapulted into fame following the success of her single “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” in 2022 and doesn’t seem to be losing momentum.
Two special guests that have not been announced yet will also be hitting the stage. Groovin’ 2024 will be hosted on Thursday April 25 at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. The concert is put together by Student Government each year and is free for students.
Contrary to previous years, tickets are for LSU students only. According to a Student Government Instagram post, the decision to do away with guest tickets came following student feedback from last year’s concert.
Students will receive an email Friday at 8:00 a.m. to reserve their tickets. Tickets will be available to download by 10 a.m., and students will have access to them the morning of the concert. There are 9,000 tickets total that will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
