Four-star 2024 guard Vyctorius Miller announced Thursday that he’d be committing to LSU to play for head coach Matt McMahon.
Miller decommitted from Oregon last week after committing and signing with them in November; this opened the door for LSU, who’d been a finalist before Miller’s initial commitment.
247Sports has Miller, who is from North Hollywood, California, ranked as the No. 60 player in the 2024 class.
With the late addition of Miller, LSU now has three commitments in the 2024 class, which improves to the No. 13 class in the nation. The other two commitments are big man Robert Miller and guard Curtis Givens III, ranked No. 67 and 80 respectively.
Miller is a guard with great all-around scoring ability, a natural shooting motion, a growing skill for playmaking and a height of 6 feet 5 inches.
He played high school basketball for AZ Compass Prep in his junior and senior year. Before that, he played for Crean Lutheran his sophomore year and at Oakwood in California his freshman year.
In his junior year, Miller’s team competed in the GEICO National Championship game, losing to a Link Academy team that had Corey Chest, who will now be Miller’s teammate at LSU.

This year, his team qualified for the Chipotle Nationals as the No. 8 team in the country. Miller announced his commitment shortly before his team’s opening-round matchup with No. 1 Montverde on Thursday.
As the nephew of rapper Master P and the son of rapper Silkk the Shocker, Miller comes from a noteworthy family with roots in New Orleans.
In addition, he has two cousins who have played basketball at the Division I level, and another, four-star 2024 prospect Mercy Miller, who is currently committed to Houston.
Miller also has an NIL deal with Under Armour dating back to February 2023.
