Former LSU wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. is the third LSU player off the board in the NFL Draft after being picked by the Jaguars.
Thomas spent three seasons at LSU, with his best coming in his final year in 2023. In that season, Thomas caught 68 passes for 1,177 yards and 17 touchdowns.
He became Jayden Daniels’ go-to redzone target in 2023, with his size and contested catch ability arguably his best attributes.
Thomas is the second LSU receiver and the third LSU player to be taken in the first round after Malik Nabers was picked No. 6 overall by the New York Giants and Jayden Daniels went No. 2 to the Washington Commanders.
It’s the first time since 2020 LSU has had three or more players selected in the first round.
