The LSU School of Music hosted the wind quintet The City of Tomorrow in the Recital Hall. The group performed pieces “Connectome 48” by Ken Topham, “Fantasie for bassoon and electronics” by their very own Stuart Breczinski, “Black as a Hack for Cyborgification” by Jessie Cox, “Meditations Vol. 1” by David Byrd-Marrow, “De Memorias” by Tania Leon and a commissioned closing piece called “The Faculty of Sensing” by George Lewis. The quintet is known for their exploration of physical movement and spatial relationships in their concert programming. Check out some of the key moments during their recital at LSU.
