Walk around LSU’s campus for a few minutes, and you’ll likely stumble upon a fenced-off area with construction equipment inside. Below are some of the projects underway if you have yet to run into them.
Field House Drive
A fair portion of Field House Drive going from the Journalism Building to about the Electrical Engineering Building is either fenced off or has large equipment sitting in the street. Construction workers have dug several holes in the road including one where piping is exposed.
South Campus Drive
South Campus Drive near Howe-Russell going to the Barnes Ogden Art & Design Complex is fenced off for construction except for a small cross through for pedestrians.
Patrick F. Taylor Hall
After a leak closed off part of PFT, work has begun to restore the inside of engineering building.
Outside the PMAC
While not creating any detours for those walking to class, the construction in a parking lot near the PMAC is quite noticeable especially for those in attendance of men’s and women’s basketball games.
Thomas D. Boyd Hall
The work on Boyd Hall won’t cause too many problems for passersby, but it is construction on campus.
