On Wednesday, LSU made one of its biggest additions to its Class of 2025 recruiting class in five-star running back, Harlem Berry.
Berry committed to the Tigers at the Under Armour All-American game in Orlando, Florida. He chose LSU over Texas and Florida.
Berry is a 5-foot-11, 175-pound running back from St. Martin’s Episcopal School in Metairie, Louisiana. According to the 247sports Composite Rankings, Berry is both the No. 1 recruit in Louisiana and the No. 1 running back in the country.
The in-state running back recruit is the second five-star to commit to the Tigers for the Class of 2025, as he joins the No. 1 ranked wide receiver, Dakorien Moore.
Berry makes commitment No. 7 to LSU’s Class of 2025. Of the seven recruits committed to LSU in the junior class, five of them, including Berry, are from Louisiana. Berry joins four-star linebacker and University High School standout, Keylan Moses, as the top in-state recruits committed to LSU in the 2025 class.
The other three in-state recruits are four-star tight end, John David LaFleur, son of former LSU tight end, David LaFleur. He also joins four-star offensive tackle, Brett Bordelon and three-star wide receiver, TaRon Francis.
Along with Moore, LSU added three-star cornerback, Jaylen Bell, from Grayson High School in Georgia as a part of the out-of-state commitments to LSU’s Class of 2025.
Berry can arguably be one of the biggest commitments LSU will land for its junior class. Now, Brian Kelly and his staff will wait on the No. 1 overall recruit in the country for the 2025 class, Bryce Underwood, to announce on Saturday, Jan. 6.
