LSU football is expected to hire Slade Nagle to fill the tight ends coach vacancy, according to multiple reports and first reported by FootballScoop.
The position was formerly held by Mike Denbrock who coach tight ends while serving as offensive coordinator in 2022 and 2023.
Nagle spent the last eight years at Tulane, serving as offensive coordinator in 2023. He was the tight ends coach the previous seven seasons.
Another coach with Louisiana ties, Nagle is from Lake Charles and played quarterback at McNeese State from 1999-2001.
Nagle briefly coached at LSU previously, working with special teams in 2009 as an administrative assistant.
