Tales From the Field: Stories from the LSU Vet Med Community
The LSU School of Veterinary Medicine will be hosting an evening of captivating stories from the vet med community. Speakers will share their experiences in saving furry friends and applying the knowledge they gained during their studies in real-world scenarios. This event will be held at the LSU Vet Med Library Common Area at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free.
Go Downtown Social Bike Ride
Electric Depot will be hosting an installation of its weekly bike rides through the historic downtown district. The ride begins at 6 p.m. at the Electric Depot, which is located at 1509 Government Street and is open to riders of all ages.

Drive-By Truckers at Chelsea’s Live

Photographing History: A Talk with Cecil Williams
Acclaimed photographer and author Cecil J. Williams will be hosting a discussion on his first-hand experiences documenting the Civil Rights Movement. The talk will be held at the Old State Capitol at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free.

River City Jazz Masters Series

Mid City’s largest art festival, White Light Night, will be hosted along the Government Street strip from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Local artisans will be on site selling their work, as well as musicians performing live.
