LSU corner and Syracuse transfer Duce Chestnut is currently not with the team, according to head coach Brian Kelly.
Chestnut didn’t travel with the team for the Ole Miss game due to what Kelly described as a coach’s decision. On Thursday, he updated Chestnut’s status during a press conference.
“Duce is not with our team right now,” Kelly said. “We’ll make a decision on his status in the next few weeks.
Chestnut played in each of LSU’s first four games, tallying six tackles and intercepting a pass against Florida State.
