LSU Eunice’s campus shut down around 10 a.m. Tuesday because of a bomb threat, canceling classes and all business operations for the rest of the day, according to an announcement from the university.
LSUE is asking students, faculty and staff to leave campus.
LSU Eunice Police and local law enforcement are on the scene, LSUE said through its media center, and are examining buildings to secure the university.
LSUE is asking Bengal Village residents to evacuate. They will be notified when they should return, the university said.
