The Reveille is reporting Saturday from several governor hopefuls’ election night parties and the secretary of state’s office to bring you the latest results.
Follow along here for live updates in the battle for Louisiana’s next top leader. A candidate must secure over 50% of the votes to win, or the top two vote-getters will advance to a general election Nov. 18.

10:15 p.m.

The Associated Press called the race for Republican Attorney General Jeff Landry. He captured around 51.6% of the vote. Former Transportation Secretary Shawn Wilson, a Democrat, trailed far behind at 25.9%.

With 1,029,861 votes in and 3,759 out of 3,929 precincts reporting, here are the top five candidates so far in the governor’s race:
