The votes are in: the LSU student body has decided the university’s 2023 homecoming king and queen.
After a week of events and festivities, the royals were announced Saturday evening during halftime of the Tigers’ homecoming game against Army.
Brooks Belanger, an economics and marketing senior of the E. J. Ourso College of Business has won the bid for the king’s throne and Juliette LeRay, a mass communication senior of the Manship School of Mass Communication has been coronated as queen.
The election was open to all students of LSU’s Baton Rouge campus and was held on Tigerlink.

LSU confirmed the announcement with a post on X (formerly Twitter).
This year’s is the 98th LSU homecoming and it had the theme “in our championship era.”
The week’s buildup of festivities included a screening of the movie “Barbie”, live music on the parade grounds in “The Battle of the Bands”, a drag show in the student union’s ballroom, and block parties with Greek life and Family Weekend.
