Brian Kelly added two significant names to the injury report this week as starting offensive tackle Emery Jones and starting defensive tackle Mekhi Wingo are both doubtful to play against Army.
Jones sustained a sprained ankle early in LSU’s 48-18 win over Auburn and left the game in the first quarter. Zalance Heard filled in at right tackle after Jones’s injury and is expected to start in Jones’ place against Army

Kelly said Wingo has been dealing with a lower body injury throughout the season, adding that this week is an opportunity for him to “get right” going into LSU’s bye week. Jordan Jefferson, Paris Shand and Jacobian Guillory are all potential options to replace Wingo in the starting lineup.
Kelly said both injuries are manageable, and he expects both players to return to full strength despite not giving an exact timetable.
The only other player listed on the injury report was Chris Hilton Jr. He was listed probable after missing the last two game with an ankle injury he suffered at the end of the Ole Miss game.
