Coming off a loss to Wake Forest, LSU baseball will face Tennessee for the second time in the College World Series.
If LSU wins, the Tigers will continue in the series and play Wake Forest again. Losing to Tennessee will end its season.

Top of 9th: Pearson walks to start the inning. Crews hits a homerun and adds 2 runs for the Tigers. White strikes out for the 1st out of the inning, and Morgan grounds out for the 2nd. Dugas walks and Beloso hits a short double to bring runners to 2nd and 3rd, but Thompson grounds out to stop the momentum.
Bottom of 8th: A lead off single for Tennessee. The next batter hits in to a double play. The inning is extended by a standup double, but a groundout by the next batter ends the threat.

Top of 8th: Morgan and Dugas are hit back-to-back by a new pitcher from Tennessee, which has runners on 1st and 2nd for Beloso. Tennessee goes back to the bullpen for another pitcher. Beloso flies out to left field. Tennessee changes pitchers for the third time in the inning. Thompson hits a ground ball and Dugas is out at 2nd, but Tennessee is unable to turn 2. Jobert is hit and the bases are loaded. Morgan scores on a wild pitch.
Bottom of 7th: Ackenhausen hits the first batter. Riley Cooper comes in to pitch for LSU. Thompson stops a single and gets the lead runner at 2nd base. Cooper strikes out the next batter. A pinch hitter comes in and draws a walk for Tennessee. An error on Thompson loads the bases. A groundout to Morgan ends the threat from Tennessee. LSU still leads 2-0.
Top of 7th: Pearson flies out to start the inning. Crews strikes out for the 2nd out. White grounds out to end the LSU half. Score remains 2-0.
Bottom of 6th: Ackenhausen strikes out the first batter of the 6th. The next batter grounds out to Thompson. The next batter strikes out to end the inning.

Top of 6th: Tre Morgan has a lead off double. Dugas bunts to the 3rd baseman, who throws it away. Morgan comes home and Dugas advances to 2nd base with no outs for the Tigers.
