Photojournalism brings with it a great many opportunities to help bring stories to life. Throughout the year the Reveille photo staff has worked toward that goal of visual storytelling.
We, of course, covered the championship seasons of both women’s basketball and baseball. We followed Jayden Daniels through his Heisman campaign as well as the Louisiana gubernatorial campaigns. However, we also brought you images of cultural events like Lunar New Year and Mardi Gras. We brought you into the wacky lives of LSU’s squirrels and shared the workings of a Rubik’s Cube competition. We covered the big and the small, and two of our photographers even flew through the sky.
