Here’s the third and final addition of the “Gossip Girl” style archives.
Jenny Humphrey was the angsty teen turned young adult in the Upper East Side throughout the series. Humphrey went through a lot of character development throughout the show. First, trying to conform to a good girl reputation then rebelling into a complete bad girl and finally, finding a balance between good and bad and becoming happy with herself.
Momsen’s style in “Gossip Girl” is tough girl with a feminine touch.
The first look is a drop-waist purple sequined dress with chunky black heels and metal jewelry. This look is easy to incorporate into an everyday wardrobe by finding a dress in a light color with a flowy silhouette and paired with heavy, dark accessories.
The second look is more causal and has a grunge feel.
A plaid tunic is paired with black leggings, a velvet hat and various jewelry. This look is easy to recreate. Head to your local thrift store to find a vintage flannel, hat and jewelry. Pair it all with black leggings and booties and the look is ready for a casual day.
