LSUPD Spokesman Capt. Cory Lalonde said officers responded to a vehicle fire in the gravel parking lot where old Alex Box Stadium was located around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The front end of the vehicle, a Chevrolet Impala, showed burn marks. Lalonde said the fire was extinguished.
Fire fighters and police officers surrounded the car preventing other people from coming close to the car.
