Arkansas Legislature passed a described as a religious freedom law that is causing backlash and boycotts across the state.
Several critics of bill believe will be a means to discriminate against gay couples.
The bill will now be reviewed by Gov. Asa Hutchinson who formerly stated he would pass a bill of this nature if it was similar to others approved in several other states.
The Arkansas bill is similar to a law recently passed in Indiana that has led to outrage across the state. Both bills allow larger corporations to reject a ruling or mandate that infringes upon their religious beliefs.
According to legal experts the wording and language that will make it difficult for the government to override a claim made by a company.
