BRPD officers found two dead bodies at the bottom of a pool near Tigerland just after 1 a.m. Sunday morning, according to a BRPD news release.
The two bodies were a male and female, according to the release, and their identities have yet to be confirmed. They were found at 1315 Bob Pettit Blvd.
After an officer retrieved both unresponsive bodies from the pool, EMS transported them to a local hospital. Officers found the pool closed and a gate to the pool locked, according to the after hours synopsis, and preliminary investigation indicates the two may have entered the pool area by jumping the fence.
Detectives from the Violent Crime Division are taking over the investigation, according to the report.
