Former North Carolina head coach and Hall of Fame inductee Dean Smith died yesterday at his home in the state.
Smith won two national championships, had 11 Final Four appearances, and won the 1976 Olympic gold medal. He also coached 3-time NBA champion James Worthy and Hall of Famer Michael Jordan.
