Louisiana state officials have announced on Monday that state government offices in 40 parishes will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 24 due possible hazardous driving conditions and scattered power outages due to the winter conditions.
Northwestern Louisiana parishes, such as Bossier, Lafayette and Caddo parishes, is under a freezing rain advisory and is expecting one-tenth of an inch of freezing rain on Monday night. East Feliciana public schools are canceled for Tuesday.
