Dalton Hall was recently injured in a train accident in Tigerland.
Hall fell and hit his head, causing him to lose consciousness on a railroad. While unconscious, his leg was run over by a passing train.
Hall said the support from his family and friends made his five-day stay at the hospital and hotel room bearable.
“I was just so happy,” Hall said. “I was filled with joy because you know after going through something painful, the first people you want to see are your parents.”
For the remainder of the semester, Hall is withdrawing from LSU and moving back home to Missouri to receive physical therapy.
He will learn how to walk using a walker, crutch and eventually a prosthetic leg. Hall’s parents said he will return to LSU next fall to continue with his international trade and finance studies.
The Halls want to thank everyone for their support, to receive updates you can go to http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/daltonhall.
The Hall family arrived to their home safely in Kansas City, Missouri on February 7th.
