Born Ruffians got their start in Midland, Ontario, Canada. Delivering a playful variety of indie rock and hooky melodies, Born Ruffians garnered attention in the Toronto Club Circuit. Known for their lively stage presence, the quartet attracted British Electronic Label Warp Records which gave them their first record deal.
 In 2008, Born Ruffians released their first full-length album, Red Yellow & Blue to critical acclaim. Lalonde’s bright and chirpy voice gives the band their distinct sound.His voice has a sense of urgency with hint of brashness which never fails to keep the energy high at all their shows. Born Ruffians are currently on tour supporting their fourth full length album RUFF.
